GROUP FITNESS

PBY programming is a direct result of a dream. What came out of that dream was a crazy amazing journey that has brought us to right now. This community and the evolution of our fitness views has allowed us to see, share and commit to different styles and ways of training and perspectives on living. 

3 main focus points:

1- Fun - Working out, living life, its got to be fun to be sustainable. We mix up and change wo styles and mvmt patterns so we never get bored or plateau. We do so in a strategic way that allows us to hit all the different variations of movement patterns as well as energy systems in the current week as well as in the 4 week cycles.

 2 - Quality of moment - We care about living life fully. We KNOW that quality of movement is paramount to our bodies lasting this entire life! Its #1 period. Learn to move well, once you move well learn to move fast, once you move fast you can now safely lift heavy. Our experience of plateaus and 97.9% of nagging injuries In fitness is simple and our focus is the same, go back to the fundamentals, strengthen and learn to use your core and above all learn to move better. 

3 - Endurance/Energy - Having enough for it all. We know that a strong, “fit” body isn’t really functional unless it can move well for long periods of time without tiring. For that we don’t skip the hard stuff, we learn to love it. We create intent so we can hit the intended stimulus in single modalities such as long r/b/s where we can learn to sustain our energy or with shorter faster paced intervals where we need to push the intensity and test our limits.

What to expect - The most complete hour of your day. We got you! Most class layouts include. PREHAB a chance for us to work on any group weaknesses that we want to teach and address. Part 1, usually warm up and activation. We will use this time to ensure proper moment mechanics and making sure the body is prepared for the work ahead. Part 2 - Strength, all kinds. Constantly varied workout styles to elicit the ultimate well rounded strength, We learn and challenge all the movement patterns and then we compound them and make them functional and dynamic.  We repeat certain strength exercises each week allowing for individual growth from week to week. We provide a targeted stimulus and leave it up to the individual to listen to their body and hit it to the best of their abilities. At the end we usually provide a finisher, this is either accessory strength, midline pump, or more likely all of the above plus a chance to test your fitness. 

What we expect - We expect your best effort to show up on time and listen when we give instructions. We want to teach you fitness and becuause of you being here and commiting to 2-3-4-5 days a week consistently, you are and will continue to be fit. Know your why and make that you for the 1 hour that you get at PBY. Try and leave any distractions outside and use the hour to be the live as the best version of yourself. We respect that this is your hour of fitness so we have preplanned in advance to get the most out of it. 

Any issues with the work prescribed know that to the best of our abilities during the rehab and warm up parts is when we like to address any major concerns with movement substitutions and modifications due to personal limitations or injury. If you have a rehab/physio exercises we may want you to incorporate that into your rehab or warm up. If you do not please check in with us as we can offer subs or we can chat about options. If you are not seeing progress with injury we also can help with that. 

In our 4 week cycles you will see similar focal points in our rehab for week to week. Certain exercises will be stressed and certain positions will be empathized in our warm ups. And a repeat of certain strength mvmnts atleast weekly so we can build confidence and muscle.

We do not offer drop-ins for our sessions. If you are interested in becoming a member at Power By You, we require a 6 month to year commitment.

We currently opening up our facility to 10 new members. Please contact me if you are interested.

RATES

$180.00 plus tax per month paying by the month (6 month to year commitment required).

$2100 plus tax one time payment for 1 year group fitness membership.

$1100 plus tax one time payment for 6 months group fitness membership.
